The Women’s Resource Center in Athens is a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring, encouraging, and empowering women and their families to make life-affirming choices before, during, and after pregnancy. Our vision is to be a place of hope and support where all life is cherished, and eternal life is shared. Our client advocates confidentially address not only the physical needs of a client but their spiritual and emotional needs as well. The Center depends solely on the financial giving of our ministry partners to provide this vital service to the community of Athens City and Limestone County.
The WRC operates daily under the leadership of the Executive Director who has been carefully selected by the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors consists of members from professional fields and pastoral ministry, and provides a professional mix ensuring all areas of the ministry stay in focus. The Board serves as the leadership for direction, financial support, community involvement, and various community events.
